The EAT IT FRESH! Team is currently overloaded, so for lack of time this month's news will be brief, but no less interesting:

- The brand spanking new 4th chapter is here, even more off-the-wall than ever.

- Paka, the rest of the Team and I have started working on a paper version of EAT IT FRESH! But the project is still pretty fuzzy.

- I'm also pleased to annonce that Paka wil be present at the Japan Expo (as well as yours truly). Check back soon at the website for more information (there's even a surprise for those who come to see us! n__n)

- A top-secret project related to EAT IT FRESH! is in the works. I can't tell you much about it right now, but if you keep checking the news regularly you might get a few bonus previews ;]

Right, now get out the popcorn and get ready, things are gonna get bloody!

I know what you're about to say: "What? But ... why?"

That's often the sort of reaction you get, or at least expect when a project gets shut down or "put on hold".

But wait! Rest assured that I am not referring to the EAT IT FRESH! project as a whole.

It's just that ... how can I put this ... we'll be "momentarily suspending" the japanese version.

For what reasons? A lack of readers, a lack of means, complications during translation that you wouldn't believe, etc.

We are really and truly sorry.

Nevertheless, dear readers, this doesn't mean you can't chow down right away on the French and English versions of this brand-new chapter.

I'll start this second chapter off with a "Thank you". Thanks to everyone who has supported us, helped us, to everyone who was there until the wee hours of the morning so that this manga might come true, just for you, 100% fresh and ready to be devoured.

This month heralds a few new arrivals, beginning with chapter 2, which I hope you'll enjoy just as much as the first, if not more so.

You'll also find an RSS feed in the Gadgets & Accessories section that lets you keep track of the site's updates, as well as each new instalment [ which, you may recall, arrives on the first of every month ].

In addition to all this, you'll all have noticed a new button in the menu on the left, which leads to none other than the Credits page, where you'll get to learn a little bit about the EAT IT FRESH! team.

I'd also like to apologize to our friends from the Land of the Rising Sun for not having the japanese translation ready on time. Unfortunately, our dear translator Yuuu is currently unavailable until further notice. But we promise to get the japanese version online as quickly as possible!

It all started one rainy January evening in a small Japanese restaurant, on Paris' own boulevard Sébastopol.

I was enjoying some delicious California Maki with Paka, chatting about this and that, when a brilliant idea suddenly popped out of my head: "Fay, fwat fiff fee fadan offwine ffanga?" After some swallowing it sounded more like this: "Hey, what if we made an online manga?"

We lost no time and began the search for a killer scenario with out-of-this-world characters. Once Paka had gently brushed aside my ideas of a zombie Santa Claus and other improbable characters, we decided on EAT IT FRESH!

Since that evening meal, things have happened very quickly. After two months of hard work, tears, nervous laughter and joy, we now bring you the first chapter of EAT IT FRESH!
